Environmental sustainability
By embedding sustainability we will enable our university community to create positive change for society and environment.
Responsible Futures at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×
The º£½ÇÂÒÂ× and º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Students' Union are Responsible Futures accredited, recognising our shared commitment to embedding sustainability across education and the student experience.
Led by Students Organising for Sustainability UK (SOS-UK), Responsible Futures supports universities and students to work in partnership to put sustainability at the heart of learning and teaching.
Our accreditation reflects strong collaboration between staff and students, with trained student auditors praising our systemic approach and ambition to drive meaningful long-term change.

Reuse at salford
The º£½ÇÂÒÂ× is a member of , a redistribution network, which works in a similar way to Ebay or Freecycle but for organisations rather than individuals.
WARP-it makes it easy for departments to give away, loan or claim items unwanted by others within the organisation and beyond. Items which can be reused include furniture and stationery.
If you are from a local organisation interested in receiving donated items, please get in touch: esp-sustainability@salford.ac.uk
