Peel Park
Situated right on our doorstep, Peel Park sits next to our Peel Park campus, on the flood plain of the River Irwell.
It's a green haven for students looking to escape city life, bringing tranquility to the concrete structures of the buildings that surround it. Perfect for a jog, picnic in the summer months or a stroll through when you head to your next lecture. There's even a community park run there every Saturday!
Peel Park has also been the subject of paintings by famous º£½ÇÂÒÂ× artist, L.S Lowry, which adds to the historical beauty of this open garden landscape.
º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Museum and Art Gallery
º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Museum and Art Gallery, also located on our Peel Park campus, sits next to Peel Park and is a great art venue to explore in your free time. Situated on the lower ground floor of the museum is Lark Hill Place - a recreation of a typical Victorian street - and what's more, it's free to visit.
Inside there's also a café, providing another option for lunch with friends.

Also a 15-minute car journey from our main campus is Heaton Park, a large country park with open grass spaces, an animal centre, cafè and forest home to an abundance of grey squirrels.
With over 600 acres of parkland, Heaton Park has also been the host of events such as , a popular Indie and Dance music festival that has seen the likes of Cardi B, Dave, George Ezra and Camelphat perform on its stages.
So, when you become a student here, you'll not only have a scenic space to escape to - but also one of the UK's most popular music festivals to enjoy every year.
Lake District
You'll be just shy of a two hour drive away from the heart of the Lake District, Windermere, when you study with us. Perfect for rambling, walking, cycling and exploring the breathtaking views of the rolling mountains in one of Britain's most scenic hotspots.

Peak District
Similar to the Lake District, the Peak District is a walker's paradise and has equally stunning views and scenic routes to explore. A little closer to home, it takes just under an hour to reach the heart of the Peak District, leaving you with plenty of time to explore the countryside.
