Biography
Simon Hadfield works in Research and Knowledge Exchange at the º£½ÇÂÒÂ×, supporting and collaborating with businesses, government, and communities to deliver impactful solutions locally, nationally, and internationally.
A surprised researcher and determined writer, Simon completed an MPhil in Architecture and Design and is now working toward publishing a book with Liverpool University Press in 2027. The book celebrates the º£½ÇÂÒÂ×’s post-war campus and its use of modernist architecture during the mid-twentieth-century expansion in higher education.
An interest in the built environment, he's written articles and produced a photobook (L'Escalier Moderne with Bill Ayres) for The Modernist, his own photographs often finding their way onto his Instagram.
