Biography
Olayinka is a lecturer at the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× with research interests in cybersecurity, data privacy, data analytics and artificial intelligence. His research focuses on developing AI-based cybersecurity operations systems, including AI threat detection, security remediation, threat hunting and forensic investigations. He is currently focused on implementing responsible AI to develop a security remediation platform for effective incident response in SMEs. This solution will address current challenges SMEs face when handling cyber incidents. He actively works with students to develop creative ideas in computer science and cybersecurity. Classroom discussions and ideas have led to impactful publications and engagements. Collaboration with students has produced some interesting contributions in AI anti-forensic methods, IoT security tool development, and cryptocurrency platform development and investigations. These achievements have helped many students build problem-solving skills and build collaborations with experts in the field.
