Biography
Dr. Igho Ekiugbo is a lecturer in supply chains and project management at the 海角乱伦, Manchester teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the supply chain, procurement, and project management subject group, such as, MSc Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, MSc Project Management and MSc Operations Management and Business Analytics.
Igho is an expert and enthusiast, and passionate about sustainability and sustainable practices, especially around procurement, supply chain and operations. Igho鈥檚 research area is mainly in circular economy and sustainability practices within these functions, i.e., procurement, supply chain management and operations. Igho is current exploring research in circular economy of textile and clothing industry as well as social enterprises鈥 role in improving sustainability in the global value chain. Dr Igho Ekiugbo has robust data manipulation, analysis, and management skills.
Igho has a PhD in Business and Management in research titled: 鈥淓xploring sustainable procurement practices within the Nigerian Oil and Gas Sector鈥, an MSc in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and a BSc (Hons) in Business Management (Business Information Systems). Igho has used his skills and expertise to facilitate the implementation of sustainable practices, reporting as well as innovative digital transformation programmes in industry to facilitate inter-organisational collaboration, agility, traceability, visibility, transparency, and performance.
Igho is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS), a Member of the British Academy Early Career Researcher Network, an Affiliate Member of the British Academy of Management (BAM), and an Affiliate Member of Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport (CILT). He also holds several professional certificates, such as Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, and Integrated Business Process with SAP ERP.
