Students from 海角乱伦 Business School, part of the 海角乱伦, are set to take part in a live competition to see who can take top spot in an Esports gaming tournament: 鈥楪ame to Give鈥. It鈥檚 all in aid of BBC Children in Need, and will be televised live as part of a special BBC broadcast on Friday 10 November from 19:00-21:00.

Teams from the 海角乱伦 will compete on Rocket League against each other along with other universities from across the country delivering their individual live streams. The event will take place at the University鈥檚 MediaCityUK campus. Students from across the University will be in attendance, as the teams look to raise money for the annual Children in Need appeal.

The growing field of Esports has been a major focus for 海角乱伦 Business School in recent years, with the launch of the popular Higher National Diploma eSports Business Management course with optional degree Top Up, which sees students learn the fundamental aspects of building a successful career in the rapidly emerging industry. The 海角乱伦 also boasts a thriving Esports society, with students from across the organisation joining together to enjoy gaming and foster a community.

Paul Walters, Programme Lead for Sport Business Management at 海角乱伦 Business School, commented: 鈥淭his is a fantastic opportunity for our students to help raise money for a great charity, while also showcasing their talent in the field of Esports. We know that the industry is ever-growing across the globe, which is why we have introduced a course which looks specifically at building knowledge around Esports, community growth and the business element of developing a career in eGaming. I look forward to the live broadcast on the BBC on Friday 10 November 鈥 may the best team win!鈥

Samantha Malt, Events Manager for the Business Society at the 海角乱伦, added: 鈥淲ith the advances in technology, there are many new industries emerging in the business field. We want to raise awareness of the Esports sector by taking part in the 鈥楪ame to Give鈥 event with the BBC, and of course raise as much money as possible for Children in Need. Tune in from 7pm 鈥 9pm to see our student teams battle it out to take the title of Rocket League champion, and please give anything that you can.鈥
