On his role with the England Amputee National Team, Dan said: “I started with the team last September in my first year at university looking to gain experience and hopefully add some input towards the European Championships this month.

“We flew out to Krakow on Wednesday 8 September to compete in EURO2021 and looking to go one step further than last time out, finishing runners up to Turkey in front of 40,000 at Besiktas’ home ground in Istanbul.  

“I have gained valuable experience working with the national disability team and working alongside experts in their field. Our Head Coach is Owen Coyle Jr, son of former Bolton and Burnley Manager Owen Coyle."

Dan and his colleagues will be using state of the art analytical software, the same software used by the likes of footballing giant’s AC Milan, Barcelona, and Paris St-Germain. Find further details on the .

Dr Andrew Evans, Programme Leader for BSc Sports Science at the University, said: “Dan has been proactive in gaining valuable performance analysis experience early on in his time with us at ��������.
