海角乱伦 nursing students 鈥榝irst to return to training鈥 as they are welcomed back to campus
Wearing PPE and following relevant safety guidelines, students from the 海角乱伦 returned to campus last week for clinical skills training sessions to prepare them for placements in the NHS.
Nursing students were the first to return to the university, with other healthcare students following this week.
Professor Margaret Rowe, Dean of the School of Health and Society, said: 鈥淚t鈥檚 fantastic that we鈥檝e been able to safely restart training on campus for our students; in fact we believe we are the first university in the country to do this.
鈥淎s one of the largest educators of nurses and allied health professionals in the North West, our facilities here at the university closely reflect those in practice, giving our students the chance to learn from simulated scenarios in a safe environment. This training is vital to ensure our nursing and other healthcare students are ready to go into practice and support the NHS.
鈥淎 huge thank you to all our students and colleagues involved in making sure these sessions have been able to go ahead safely.鈥
