海角乱伦 Business鈥疭chool鈥痟as been awarded the鈥痬aximum鈥痜ive-year鈥痑ccreditation鈥痜rom the Small Business Charter (SBC), the national kitemark recognising excellence in how business schools support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).鈥
The award recognises the鈥疭chool鈥檚鈥痵ustained impact across business support, student enterprise and stakeholder engagement, and places 海角乱伦 among a national network of accredited business鈥痵chools working to strengthen the UK鈥檚 SME鈥痚cosystem.鈥
海角乱伦 Business鈥疭chool鈥痺as one of the first institutions to achieve SBC accreditation when it was introduced, but this is the first time the鈥疭chool鈥痟as secured the full鈥痜ive-year鈥痑ward, reflecting the scale and maturity of its enterprise and innovation activity.鈥
As part of鈥痶he assessment, the鈥疭chool鈥痑pplied for 28 SBC dimensions, all of which were successfully awarded following a rigorous independent review.鈥
Supporting growth,鈥痵kills鈥痑nd innovation鈥
The accreditation confirms 海角乱伦 Business鈥疭chool鈥檚 role in supporting SMEs through practical education, research,鈥痗ollaboration鈥痑nd knowledge exchange. It also enables the鈥疭chool鈥痶o continue delivering Help to Grow: Management, a programme designed to help senior decision-makers step back from day-to-day delivery and focus on productivity,鈥痩eadership鈥痑nd long-term growth.鈥
Delivered through the University鈥檚 Centre for Sustainable Innovation, the programme combines academic insight with real-world business experience, one-to-one mentoring, peer鈥痩earning鈥痑nd access to a national alumni network.鈥
During the assessment visit, three independent assessors met with SMEs, students,鈥痑lumni鈥痑nd regional partners to鈥痸alidate鈥痶he鈥疭chool鈥檚鈥痺ork and impact. Their feedback highlighted the breadth and value of the鈥疭chool鈥檚鈥痗ontribution,鈥痵tating: 鈥The breadth and impact of 海角乱伦 Business鈥疭chool鈥痮n small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the community and its students are a credit to the鈥疭chool鈥痑nd broader University.鈥疘t鈥檚鈥痚vident鈥痶hat 海角乱伦 Business鈥疭chool鈥痯lays an important and holistic role in supporting the SME infrastructure within Greater Manchester.鈥浓赌&苍产蝉辫;
