Having supported, taught and assessed 296 students since she began working with the university in 2006, Anne-Marie Lambert, Off-Site Practice Educator, has been praised by colleagues for her understanding of “the pressures facing students - professionally and personally - and providing excellent support throughout their placements”.

The shortlist, which features 100 outstanding practitioners, teams and organisations in 18 categories, was chosen by an independent judging panel made up of social workers, industry leaders and people with lived experience of social work and care.

The winners will be revealed during a special awards ceremony at The Midland Hotel in Manchester on Friday 17th October.

On being shortlisted, Anne-Marie said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have been recognised in this way. I’ve have always worked on the basis that you are only as good as the team you work within and it is due to all the support, advice and guidance I have received over the years that I am in this position now, it's a win for all of us at the university no matter what happens on the night!”
