Our image making and styling degree is progressive, creative, and dynamic. Throughout your studies you’ll gain hands-on experience in creating images, experimenting with styles, and learning new techniques. All this is geared towards finding a unique identity that will enable you to create contemporary fashion images and showcase your vision.  

In your second year, you will have the opportunity to take on an internship in the UK or internationally, collaborating with leading stylists, photographers, and publications. 

Our BA (Hons) Fashion Business and Promotion course will enable you to consider the fashion industry in its entirety, while developing a broad range of practical and technical skills required to succeed. 

This fashion business degree will introduce you to the importance of sustainability and enable you to define your own role in shaping the future of fashion retail. You’ll experience live industry projects and work placements, allowing you to network with leaders from across the industry.  

In the final year of the course, you will build a portfolio of work to showcase your individual interests and establish your reputation as a fashion business professional.

Ready to lay the foundations for a career in the fashion world? If so, our BA (Hons) Fashion Design Clearing degree is for you. As part of this degree programme, you’ll have the opportunity to go on work experience. Students have previously gained valuable experience working with leading fashion brands including Alexander McQueen, Vera Wang, Jonathan Saunders, and many more. 

Work from your final project will be exhibited at a fashion show in Manchester. A number of our students will also be selected to take part in the prestigious annual Graduate Fashion Week event in London, where they will exhibit work alongside their peers and competitors. We have previously shown student work at both London and New York Fashion Weeks. 

On this fashion design Clearing course, we provide a range of study visits for you to experience fashion hubs around the world. Previous trips have included London, Milan, Paris, Antwerp, New York, Tokyo, and China. You will also get opportunities to collaborate and network with fashion industry professionals through working on live projects and attending industry presentations and networking events. Previous contributors to our technical and professional development activities have included Max Mara, Levis, and Fred Perry.
