Campus tours

Join our friendly student ambassadors on a tour around campus to get a feel for what it's like to study at the º£½ÇÂÒÂ×.

Experience campus life on a guided tour, where you can chat with our student ambassadors and get a feel for the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× community while finding your way around campus.

Tour details

Tours start at 13:00 on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 14 October (All campuses)
  • Wednesday 28 October (Peel Park and Frederick Road campuses only)

Secure your spot early – once a tour reaches capacity, you will no longer be able to book. We'll contact you the day before your tour to confirm your attendance. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else. 

We offer tours across all three of our sites. Not sure which to visit? Select your course when booking and we'll direct you to the relevant tour location.

Don't worry if you can't make these dates as we'll add more tours throughout the year, so check back regularly. In the meantime, or get in touch if you have any questions.

Peel Park Campus

Overlooking the peaceful Peel Park, our main campus is where you'll find our sports centre, library, Students' Union, and plenty of places to eat, drink, and study. Peel Park campus is also home to courses from the School of Science, Engineering and Environment, º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Business School, and the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology, including art, design, music, and fashion.

Frederick Road Campus

Frederick Road campus is the vibrant hub of our School of Health and Society, where you'll find the latest industry-standard equipment and modern facilities, including patient simulators, medical imaging equipment, and the Energy House 2.0.

MediaCity Campus

Neighbouring the BBC, ITV, and over 250 digital and media businesses, the studios and specialist spaces at our MediaCity campus are equipped with industry-standard hardware, software and facilities, including radio studios, animation booths, and dedicated editing suites. This is a fitting home to subjects including media, gaming, and journalism in our School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology.

Can I bring family or friends?

Absolutely. Choosing a university is a big decision, and we’d love for those supporting you to come along too.

Is there support for students with a disability?

Yes. Just tell us about your access requirements when you book and we’ll do everything we can to help.

How do I get to campus?

Our tours are held on each of our three campuses: Peel Park, Frederick Road and MediaCity. Find out more about travelling here.

What should I do if I can no longer attend?

If you’re no longer able to attend, please let us know. Our tours fill up quickly so we may be able to offer your spot to someone else. º£½ÇÂÒÂ× on +44(0)161 295 4545 or at enquiries@salford.ac.uk.

Can I view accommodation?

You can visit our undergraduate accommodation, Peel Park Quarter, as part of your campus tour. You'll get to see the communal areas and chat to staff.

provides a safe, supportive and social environment where you'll make new friends, join weekly events and activities, experience new things, and feel part of our vibrant student community. It offers a free gym, study spaces, and ensuite rooms. 

Please note that Peel Park Quarter is located on our Peel Park campus. If you book onto the MediaCity campus tour and are interested in seeing accommodation, please allow up to 30 minutes after your tour to travel either via car or the 50 bus.
