The University’s IP and Commercialisation team works with academics across the institution to protect and translate University intellectual property generated through its research into market-ready offers for economic and social impact. We also offer internal funding opportunities to support the commercial potential of these new ideas.
Each idea is unique - we draw on our substantial expertise to enable a route to commercialisation bespoke for that innovation, whether that’s forming a spinout company, forming of a social enterprise, or licensing to a development partner.
